Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alpha Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alpha Dog told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dog moves in looking to clinch but Hyabusa pushes him off.

Dog throws a head kick that Hyabusa semi-blocks.
Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hyabusa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hyabusa throws a nice looking combination but Dog bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dog tries to clinch up but Hyabusa circles away and keeps his distance.

Alpha Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hyabusa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hyabusa rushes Dog and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hyabusa manages to break the clinch.
Hyabusa drops Dog with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Dog! Hyabusa dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
