Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mercito Gesta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peekay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Noise Won't Stop as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gesta throws a quick inside leg kick.

Gesta has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gesta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Williams is taking a breather. Gesta says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gesta is staying active underneath Williams, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
