Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sekhmakh Mubarak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mubarak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Robertson is fending him off so far but Mubarak persists. Nope, Robertson circles away and we're back to standing.
Mubarak checks a low kick from Robertson.
Mubarak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robertson circles away quickly and effectively.
Mubarak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Robertson gets caught flat footed, as Mubarak shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mubarak stops Robertson from standing up.

Robertson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mubarak off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Robertson lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mubarak shoots in for a takedown but Robertson shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sekhmakh Mubarak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mubarak is breathing heavily.

Robertson throws a left that rocks Mubarak and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Robertson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mubarak regain composure!


It looks like Sekhmakh Mubarak has been cut.
Robertson scores with punches from side control.

Robertson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Robertson in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Mubarak wants to control but Robertson postures up.

A lull in the action here as Robertson stalls from top position.

Robertson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mubarak has escaped the position, nice work there.
Robertson throwing strikes but Mubarak manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Robertson manages to get back to half guard.
Robertson has hold of Mubarak's hands but Mubarak slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Robertson wants to control but Mubarak is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mubarak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Robertson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mubarak pulls his head out easily.
Robertson wants to get back to his feet.

Robertson kicks Mubarak off and gets back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mubarak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robertson as he jumps to the side.
Robertson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Robertson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mubarak takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mubarak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Robertson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Robertson scores with a shot to the body.
Robertson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A jab lands there for Robertson.
Mubarak dodges the punch combination from Robertson.

Robertson steps into range and cracks Mubarak with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mubarak flops backwards and Robertson dives into his guard looking to finish!


Mubarak is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Robertson passes into half guard.
Oh Mubarak is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Robertson connects with a nice short shot to Mubarak's temple.
Mubarak is in trouble now - Robertson has advanced to mount!
Mubarak seems to have got his legs back now.
Robertson with the ground and pound from mount.
Mubarak is squirming around, avoiding Robertson's attempts to control the action.
Robertson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mubarak kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Robertson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mubarak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mubarak tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Robertson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The referee warns Mubarak that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Robertson wants to control the pace but Mubarak is squirming around nicely.
Robertson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mubarak's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robbie Robertson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Sekhmakh Mubarak's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Robertson ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Mubarak's jaw. Mubarak's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Robertson does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robbie Robertson!
Robbie Robertson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
