The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith scores with a shot to the body.
Shirokov misses with a double jab.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Shirokov.
Shirokov missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Noel Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Andrey Shirokov has been cut.
Shirokov misses with a series of wild punches.
Smith clinches up against the cage.
The referee calls for Smith to work.
Smith breaks from the clinch.
Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith with a flurry of punches that miss.
Smith postures up in Shirokov's guard and throws a big left but Shirokov blocks it.
Smith works over Shirokov with some ground and pound from guard.
Shirokov is looking to stand up but Smith isn't so interested in that idea.
Smith loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Shirokov wants to stand up but Smith is controlling him.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Smith sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shirokov's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith drops an elbow to the side of Shirokov's head.
Smith seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Smith is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Shirokov is rocked!
Shirokov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smith is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Shirokov!
Smith lands a big shot there that rocks Shirokov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Shirokov is still in real trouble! Can Smith finish him?
That has opened up Andrey Shirokov's cut even more.
Oooh a big shot lands for Smith! Shirokov is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
