Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atep Putra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thitawh Kitea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putra comes to the cage accompanied by The Fighter. Kitea is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Champion. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Putra or perhaps it was just good defense by Kitea which made him look bad.
Kitea throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Putra's head.
Kitea wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kitea tries to close the distance and clinch but Putra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kitea misses with a double jab.
Putra scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kitea is staying active underneath Putra, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Putra prevents Kitea from improving his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Putra in particular looking to stall.
Kitea is trying to stand up here but Putra is controlling him well.
Putra moves into full mount! Kitea won't be happy about that!
Putra working for a submission but Kitea is keeping him at bay.

Putra tries to control but Kitea wriggling away.
Putra working for a guillotine from mount but Kitea is in no mood to give up.
Putra looking to control but Kitea is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kitea is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Putra misses with a head shot.
Putra has control of Kitea's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kitea regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Putra pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kitea working to try and regain half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Putra moves to the back position.
Putra working for a choke but Kitea is defending well.
Putra working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Putra gets his hands free as Kitea looks to control.
Putra slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Putra looking for the choke from the back.
Kitea trying to control but not successfully.
Putra keeps control of the position as Kitea tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kitea is trying to stand back up.

Putra has managed to slip his arm under Kitea's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kitea is tapping out! Submission win for Putra.
