Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mala Fide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Recksun has chosen The Stroke as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Recksun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Recksun throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fide's waist but Fide gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Recksun off to one side.
Recksun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fide.

Fide misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Recksun.
Fide tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Recksun avoids it.
Recksun wants to take the fight to the mat but Fide manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Mala Fide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hugh Recksun's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Recksun misses with a jab, cross combination.
Recksun misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
