The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vitonen tries to clinch up but Blaze circles away and keeps his distance.
Blaze throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Buck Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blaze walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Vitonen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Vitonen tries to close the distance and clinch but Blaze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vitonen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blaze looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vitonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Oh Blaze is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Vitonen knocks Blaze out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
