Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Lapointe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egill Skallagrimsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapointe comes to the ring accompanied by Don't Drink The Water. Skallagrimsson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hoeremeisje. Egill Skallagrimsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skallagrimsson is looking to chop away at Lapointe's legs.
Skallagrimsson moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Lapointe goes down! Can Skallagrimsson finish him!?

Lapointe is rocked!

It looks like Bill Lapointe has been cut.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lapointe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Skallagrimsson is one step ahead there.
Oh Lapointe is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lapointe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Skallagrimsson controlling from the top position.
Lapointe seems to have got his legs back now.
Lapointe keeping moving, preventing Skallagrimsson from controlling successfully.
Skallagrimsson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Skallagrimsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lapointe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lapointe isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Skallagrimsson stacks Lapointe on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Skallagrimsson!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Skallagrimsson digs a good body shot into Lapointe's ribs.

Skallagrimsson gets caught flat footed, as Lapointe shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lapointe is breathing heavily.
Skallagrimsson wants to stand but Lapointe is controlling the position.
Lapointe is looking to work some ground and pound but Skallagrimsson has wrist control.
Skallagrimsson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Skallagrimsson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Skallagrimsson is on top in guard.

Lapointe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Skallagrimsson has picked Lapointe up and slammed him! Lapointe can't keep hold of the triangle and Skallagrimsson manages to pass to side control!
Skallagrimsson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Lapointe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Skallagrimsson off and has taken his back!

Lapointe has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Skallagrimsson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Skallagrimsson is trying to defend against the choke here but Lapointe has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Lapointe Tightens the hold and Skallagrimsson taps out furiously! Lapointe displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
