The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrianampoinimerina throws a combination that misses
and Tyson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tyson.

Tyson prevents the takedown attempt.

Andrianampoinimerina escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tyson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Andrianampoinimerina counters with a takedown into side control.

Tyson is looking to reverse the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyson pushes Andrianampoinimerina away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Andrianampoinimerina gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Andrianampoinimerina looks up at the clock and then as Tyson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Andrianampoinimerina smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
It looks like Tyrel Tyson has been cut.
Andrianampoinimerina works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Tyson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Andrianampoinimerina lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Tyson quite badly. Tyson pulls Andrianampoinimerina in close trying to recover. Andrianampoinimerina postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Tyson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Tyson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
