Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Cournoyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milan Diprivan!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cournoyer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diprivan.
Diprivan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cournoyer's calf.
Cournoyer throws a head kick that misses.
Diprivan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cournoyer finds it's way round the side to connect with Diprivan's head.
Cournoyer thows a leg kick but Diprivan checks it
letting Diprivan counter with a right hand.
It looks like Ryan Cournoyer has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A lazy body kick from Cournoyer
and Diprivan counters with a thumping low kick.
Diprivan cracks Cournoyer with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Diprivan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cournoyer to stand back up!
Cournoyer is rocked!
Cournoyer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Diprivan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Oh Cournoyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diprivan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cournoyer seems to have got his legs back now.
Cournoyer is breathing heavily.
Diprivan throws a quick head kick that knocks Cournoyer silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Diprivan is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Milan Diprivan!
