Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Haven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffy Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fette's Vette. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffy Jefferson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jefferson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jefferson is looking to take a break and control but Haven is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haven actively working from the bottom here.
Haven has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jefferson is working away from the top position though.
Jefferson wants to control but Haven is keeping him busy.
Haven is trying to get back to full guard.

Jefferson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jefferson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Haven trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Haven slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Jefferson is working for a kimura but Haven is defending it quite comfortably.
Jefferson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haven keeps working.
Haven is holding on to half guard well.
Jefferson prevents Haven from improving his position.
Haven is staying active underneath Jefferson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Haven makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Haven.

Jefferson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jefferson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Haven punching from the bottom - just letting Jefferson know he's still in a fight.

Haven working for submissions but it's allowed Jefferson to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jefferson passes to side control.
Haven is trying to get back to half guard.
Haven is breathing heavily.

Jefferson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Haven is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jefferson lands a few punches from side control.
Jefferson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Haven is avoiding damage well.
Haven is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jefferson off and has taken his back!
Jefferson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Jefferson is trying to stand up.
Jefferson is squirming around, avoiding Haven's attempts to control the action.
Jefferson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Haven throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Jefferson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Haven is working away from the top position though.
Haven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jefferson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jefferson is looking to improve his position.
Haven wants to take a breather but Jefferson is having none of it.
Haven wants to pass the guard but Jefferson is defending well.

Jefferson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Haven pulls his head out easily.

Jefferson looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Haven shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Haven was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jeffy Jefferson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Haven looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jefferson!
Jefferson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jefferson tries to lock up and control but Haven gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The referee warns Jefferson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Haven raining down shots from the mount!
Haven prevents Jefferson from getting the reversal.
Haven wants to take his opponent's back but Jefferson doesn't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Haven tries to control but Jefferson wriggling away.

Jefferson wants to get back to full guard.

Jefferson actively working from the bottom here.

Jefferson pushes Haven off looking to stand but Haven dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jefferson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Haven pulls his head out easily.
Jefferson is looking to improve his position.
Haven is looking to advance position but Jefferson won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A left and a right from Haven both land. Nice combination.
Jefferson moves in looking to clinch but Haven pushes him off.
Haven changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jefferson tries to avoid it but Haven manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jefferson to the ground. Jefferson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Haven counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jefferson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haven gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Haven showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Jefferson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Haven stands and throws Jefferson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Haven trying to control the position but Jefferson is working away.
Haven is really struggling to control Jefferson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Haven lands a few punches from side control.
Haven is chipping away with strikes.

Haven has hold of Jefferson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jefferson seems comfortable defending it but Haven has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jefferson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jefferson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Haven couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Cameron Haven!
