Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Isaacks catches Silva right on the button with a cross.
Isaacks digs a good hook to Silva's body.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Isaacks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Isaacks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Theodor Isaacks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Silva.
Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Isaacks to score with a decent uppercut.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Isaacks slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Isaacks lands with an uppercut that bounces Silva off the cage and back into range.
