PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Utter Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosmo Starstryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bum has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Cosmo Starstryder told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bum.
Bum is breathing heavily.
Starstryder tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bum wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bum is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Starstryder is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Starstryder is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bum asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Starstryder wants to clinch up but Bum keeps it at a distance.

Starstryder fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bum looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Starstryder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
