Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bingo Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Hammonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammonds is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad Meets Evil - Fast Lane ft. Eminem, Royce Da 5'9. Jay Hammonds has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bingo Steel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel has closed the distance and engaged Hammonds in a clinch.
Hammonds misses with an elbow strike.
Steel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Steel tries for a takedown but Hammonds sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Steel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steel misses with a takedown attempt - Hammonds sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Steel throws a shot to the body.

Steel wants to take the fight to the mat but Hammonds manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Hammonds moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Steel tries to clinch but Hammonds moves away
and Hammonds counters with a shoot takedown. Steel fights it but they end up in guard.

Steel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hammonds is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Steel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Steel's back!

Steel wants to get back to his feet but Hammonds is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hammonds got a little sloppy there for a moment and Steel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hammonds has managed to get both his arms back between Steel's legs - danger averted.

Steel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steel is defended easily by Hammonds.
Steel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hammonds tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steel swivels and escapes.

Hammonds tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Steel reaches up to try and control the position but Hammonds seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Steel rolls and tries to escape and now Hammonds has his back!

Steel is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hammonds.
Hammonds is trying to stick to Steel's back but Steel is turning into Hammonds. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hammonds's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Steel.
Hammonds can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steel controls the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hammonds fails to land the takedown.
