Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Youngblood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Leben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leben has chosen Crept and We Came- Bone Thugs as his entrance music. Youngblood has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kenny Youngblood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leben misses with a body shot
and Youngblood counters with a good, hard body kick but Leben shrugs it off.

Youngblood gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Leben to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leben tries to free his leg and advance position but Youngblood is retaining full guard.
Leben controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Leben stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Leben shoots in and bounces Youngblood off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Youngblood is breathing heavily.

Youngblood is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Leben gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Leben turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Leben remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leben is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Youngblood can't fight it off and eventually Leben manages to take the fight to the floor. Youngblood looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Leben throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Youngblood was covering up waiting for the punch and Leben finishes the takedown easily into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Leben hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Youngblood's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Leben connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Youngblood scrambles back to his feet.
Youngblood looks to land a combination but Leben avoids it well.

Leben shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Chuck Leben has got the better of the ground game so far.
Well, if Leben is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
