Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Adamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wrestling Bot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Adamson!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamson fails in his attempt to clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Craig Adamson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bot shoots in for a takedown but Adamson shows good takedown defense.
Adamson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wrestling Bot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Adamson wants to clinch up but Bot keeps it at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Adamson enables Bot to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Adamson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Adamson tries to clinch up.
Bot dives in and grabs Adamson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Adamson pushes down on Bot's head and hops out.

Adamson moves forwards but Bot connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Adamson is pressed up against the cage. Bot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Adamson down to the mat. Adamson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wrestling Bot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adamson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Adamson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Adamson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bot as he avoids it easily.

Bot feints and as Adamson raises his hands in defense, Bot changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Adamson wants to sweep here but Bot controlling him for the moment.
Adamson has momentary wrist control but Bot slips an elbow through the middle.

Adamson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Adamson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Adamson pulls Bot in to control the position.

Bot drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Adamson dives on top into guard.
Bot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bot is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Adamson is controlling him.
Adamson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bot's guard.

Adamson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bot lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adamson!

Bot thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Adamson's head.

Bot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adamson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bot has managed to get both his arms back between Adamson's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wrestling Bot.
I think Bot has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
