Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Gonzaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincenzo Alamente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thiago Gonzaga has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thiago Gonzaga seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzaga regains half guard.

Alamente wants to pass the guard but Gonzaga is keeping the position.

Gonzaga has his foot on Alamente's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alamente works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alamente is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gonzaga defends it well.
Alamente passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gonzaga!
Alamente has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gonzaga's face.

Alamente looking to secure an arm triangle but Gonzaga defends it well.
Gonzaga wants to try and get back to his feet.

Alamente has hold of Gonzaga's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gonzaga manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gonzaga bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Gonzaga wants to pass the guard but Alamente is keeping the position.
Alamente not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gonzaga avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gonzaga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alamente swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Alamente looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gonzaga is pushing down on Alamente's leg trying to pass to half guard. Alamente is fighting to maintain full guard but Gonzaga has managed to sneak the leg through.

Gonzaga wants to advance to full mount but Alamente doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Gonzaga wants to stand but Alamente is controlling his posture from full guard.

Gonzaga drops back looking for a leg! Alamente is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alamente manages to kick Gonzaga off! Gonzaga jumps back into Alamente's guard.
Alamente scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Gonzaga stands and throws Alamente's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gonzaga is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alamente has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gonzaga tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gonzaga has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Alamente tries to buck Gonzaga off but Gonzaga is having none of it.
Gonzaga stands up and beckons Alamente to his feet.
Alamente drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gonzaga has his feet on Alamente's thighs here. He's pushed Alamente off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Alamente screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
