Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chan Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waters comes into the arena with 50 Cent - Ready for War blaring out of the sound system. Lei has chosen Rising Dawn as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dwayne Waters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chan Lei!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Waters counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Lei doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Waters counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lei thinking.
Lei has his takedown stuffed
and Waters counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dwayne Waters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chan Lei.
A decent looking cross lands there for Waters.
Waters misses with a series of wild punches.
Lei doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Waters counters with a takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lei gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Waters moves into full mount! Lei won't be happy about that!
Waters prevents Lei from getting the reversal.
Waters trying to control but Lei is having none of it.

Lei working to try and regain half guard.

Lei is in all sorts of trouble here.

Lei is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Waters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lei is looking to escape.
Lei bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Waters is looking to control Lei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Waters avoid being mounted?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lei is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Waters doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lei.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lei wants to pass the guard but Waters is defending well.
Waters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lei is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Waters is just riding it out for now. Lei eventually gives up the hold.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lei is looking for submissions but instead, Waters has regained full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dwayne Waters will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Waters's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lei under the eye.

Waters shoots in and gets a takedown into Lei's guard.

Waters is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lei has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Waters is looking to defend but Lei has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Waters! Lei pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Waters taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chan Lei!
A relieved looking Chan Lei thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
