Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wade Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylvain Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by wanted dead or alive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wade Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sylvain Sauvage!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sauvage takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sauvage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sauvage wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Sauvage checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Walker.
Walker keeps the fight on the outside.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sauvage throws a body kick that misses.
Walker shoots in but Sauvage avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Sauvage gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Walker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Walker jumps guard but Sauvage stands there with Walker around his waist. Walker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sauvage just misses with a elbow thrown towards Walker's brow.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Walker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sauvage scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Walker throws the left hand but Sauvage avoids the punch easily.
Sauvage takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sauvage takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Sauvage uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walker.
Walker throws a sloppy head kick and Sauvage moves out of range easily.
Walker doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Sauvage counters by moving into the clinch.
Sauvage lands a nice elbow.
Sauvage doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Walker tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Walker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sauvage smiles and moves away.
Walker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sauvage manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Walker throws a lazy head kick

and Sauvage counters by clinching up.
Walker blocks an elbow strike.
Walker has Sauvage pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sauvage manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Walker misses with a knee to the head.
Sauvage lands a knee to the head.
Sauvage lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Walker drags the fight down to the ground.

Walker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sauvage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sauvage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sauvage postures up in Walker's guard and throws a big left but Walker blocks it.

Walker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sauvage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sauvage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Walker has his foot on Sauvage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sauvage works his way back into a safe position though.
Sauvage throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Walker looking for subs off his back but Sauvage has passed one foot through into half guard.
Sauvage wants to stand but Walker has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sauvage lands strikes from half guard.
Walker wants to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Wade Walker will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Walker lands with an uppercut that bounces Sauvage off the cage and back into range.

Sauvage feints and then cracks Walker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Walker down.
Walker throws a head kick that Sauvage semi-blocks.

Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sauvage is still on wobbly legs! Can Walker finish him?
Sauvage avoids the head kick by Walker.

Walker connects with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Sauvage makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Walker really felt that one!
Wade Walker is winning the standup battle so far.

Walker is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Sauvage is in big trouble! Walker is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Sauvage. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Wade Walker!
Wade Walker spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
