The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blades manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marshall on his heels. He'll look to pass Marshall's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Blades takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Blades has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Marshall tries to lock up and control but Blades gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Marshall is bucking up trying to escape but Blades cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Kennedy Marshall has been cut.
Blades fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
