Gonzalez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gonzalez wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.

Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Gonzalez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gonzalez manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Gonzalez's guard.

Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gonzalez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard.

Jones looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gonzalez has picked Jones up and slammed him! Jones can't keep hold of the triangle and Gonzalez manages to pass to side control!
Gonzalez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
