Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Burneika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burneika kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HK - Pompa. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cop lands a nice leg kick that just misses Burneika's sensitive parts.
Cop stuffs the takedown attempt from Burneika. Burneika gets slowly back to his feet.
Cop turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Burneika.
Burneika drops his hands momentarily and Cop takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cop connects with a solid leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burneika fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Burneika. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burneika changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cop tries to avoid it but Burneika manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cop to the ground. Cop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cop cracks Burneika with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cop has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Burneika to stand back up!
Burneika is rocked!
It looks like Robert Burneika has been cut.
Burneika is breathing heavily.
Cop throws a powerful right kick. Burneika tried to block low but the kick was high! Burneika was taken right off of his feet! Cop jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mirko Cop!
