Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuxedo Mickey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tuxedo Mickey was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pounder throwing strikes from guard but Mickey blocks nicely.
Pounder looking to pass the guard.
Pounder trying to control but Mickey is working from the bottom.
Pounder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pounder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pounder postures up in Mickey's guard and throws a big left but Mickey blocks it.
Mickey seems keen to control Pounder's posture.
Pounder seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Pounder tries to free his leg and advance position but Mickey is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pounder fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Pounder looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mickey is fending him off so far but Pounder persists. Nope, Mickey circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Pounder or perhaps it was just good defense by Mickey which made him look bad.

Pounder is breathing heavily.
Pounder shoots in for a takedown but Mickey shows good takedown defense.
Mickey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mickey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pounder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pounder is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mickey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mickey's back!
Mickey defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Pounder's arms.
Pounder is looking for the choke from the back position but Mickey is controlling his hands well.

Pounder scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Mickey is looking for a way out.

Pounder is striking from the back but Mickey escapes and manages to recover to half guard.
Mickey wants to control but Pounder is keeping busy.
Pounder seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mickey is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
