Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyov Kirijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragoslav Stoyanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoyanovich comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hymn To Red October kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dragoslav Stoyanovich will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyov Kirijenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dragoslav Stoyanovich!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoyanovich tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stoyanovich is looking to score with low kicks.
Stoyanovich throws a jab but it's blocked by Kirijenko.
Kirijenko cracks Stoyanovich with a good jab.
Kirijenko tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Stoyanovich turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stoyanovich swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stoyanovich throws a good cross that connects.
Kirijenko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stoyanovich to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kirijenko cracks Stoyanovich with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kirijenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stoyanovich as he avoids it easily.
Stoyanovich moves forwards but Kirijenko connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Stoyanovich closes the distance and pushes Kirijenko back into the ropes.
A hook to the body from Stoyanovich.
Kirijenko blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kirijenko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stoyanovich pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stoyanovich throws a jab but it's blocked by Kirijenko.
Stoyanovich throws a head kick but Kirijenko moves out of range.

Kirijenko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kirijenko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kirijenko tries to control but Stoyanovich wriggling away.
Stoyanovich is trying to escape the mount.
Stoyanovich wants to control but Kirijenko is having none of it.

Kirijenko lands a big shot there that rocks Stoyanovich but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Stoyanovich is desperately trying to improve his position but Kirijenko has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kirijenko tries to control but Stoyanovich wriggling away.

Kirijenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kirijenko lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stoyanovich hang on?

It looks like Dragoslav Stoyanovich has been cut.
Stoyanovich is looking to get to half guard.

Stoyanovich sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Stoyanovich wants to improve his position but Kirijenko is controlling well.
Kirijenko wants to pass the guard but Stoyanovich is defending well.
Stoyanovich is not content to let Kirijenko control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kirijenko looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stoyanovich moves out of range as Kirijenko strikes.
Kirijenko fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyov Kirijenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lyov Kirijenko will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Dragoslav Stoyanovich's cut.
That's time! Kirijenko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Stoyanovich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kirijenko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Stoyanovich wants to sweep here but Kirijenko controlling him for the moment.

Stoyanovich might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kirijenko kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kirijenko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
