Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laz Herculus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Laz Herculus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big John!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Herculus swings for the body but John moves out of range.
Herculus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from John.
John misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Herculus.
John swings for the body but Herculus moves out of range.
John throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
John scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Big John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John misses with a straight right.
John moves into range and connects with a jab.
Herculus throws a hook to the side of John's head but John sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
John throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Herculus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Herculus staying out of range there.
Herculus stuns John with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
John throws a right hand that misses
and Herculus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps John thinking.
John throws a big shot that misses.
John takes one on the button.
Herculus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
John is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Herculus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from John.
John has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Herculus finds it's way round the side to connect with John's head.
John misses with a looping right.
Herculus lands a left and a right that send John crashing to the mat, dazed. Herculus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Big John has been cut.
John looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Herculus cracks John with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
John is rocked!
Herculus lands with a shot to the body.
Herculus lands a nice shot to the body.
John has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Herculus finds it's way round the side to connect with John's head.
Herculus moves in close and cracks John with a massive right hand! John, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Herculus!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Laz Herculus!
Our winner, Laz Herculus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
