Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Rua. Deuce does a little dance to reset his feet.
Deuce misses with a jab, cross combination.
Deuce dips to his left and cracks Rua with an uppercut!

Rua shoots in and bounces Deuce off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rua tries to free his leg and advance position but Deuce is retaining full guard.
Rua won't allow Deuce to sweep him here.
Deuce is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Rua trying to control the position from guard on top but Deuce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Deuce trying to keep a closed guard but Rua is proving a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Deuce sizes up Rua with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Deuce lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Deuce ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rua moves away.

Rua feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
