Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greyson Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrews comes to the cage accompanied by Testify - Rage Against The Machine. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes throws a hook but Andrews blocks it.

Andrews shoots in and bounces Reyes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Andrews controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Andrews seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reyes for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyes is trying to keep Andrews in close.
Andrews controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Reyes wants to control the position but Andrews says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Reyes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Andrews stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Reyes missing with a left hand there. Andrews was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Reyes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Andrews.
Reyes throws a hook but Andrews blocks it.
Reyes misses with a takedown

and Andrews counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Reyes!
Andrews is breathing heavily.
Reyes tries to hold on but Andrews pushes him away.
Reyes really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Andrews controlling from the full mount.
Reyes is desperately trying to improve his position but Andrews has a good base and remains in mount.

Reyes is looking to get to half guard.
Reyes slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Andrews is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Reyes is trying to maintain the position but Andrews is very close to passing his half guard.

Reyes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Andrews gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Greyson Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes looks to clinch

and Andrews counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reyes's guard now.
Andrews is stalling in the full guard.
Reyes is trying to keep Andrews in close.

Reyes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Andrews gets to his feet - Reyes follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Andrews feints and as Reyes raises his hands in defense, Andrews changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Andrews postures up.

Andrews lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Andrews avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Andrews passes Reyes's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Reyes tries to roll over but Andrews keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reyes has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Andrews. Oh but Reyes has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Andrews goes limp - he's gone! Reyes jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
