PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between HeavyWeight Prizefighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fancy Mcghee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prizefighter comes to the cage accompanied by Under and Over it by ffdp. Fancy Mcghee is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Prizefighter catches Mcghee right on the button with a cross.
Prizefighter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcghee scores with a nice head shot.
Mcghee throws a leg kick
and Prizefighter counters with a thumping low kick.
Mcghee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mcghee throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mcghee tries to clinch up but Prizefighter circles away and keeps his distance.
Mcghee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mcghee moves into range and clinches up with Prizefighter.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Mcghee tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Prizefighter wants the takedown. Mcghee is fighting it off but Prizefighter persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mcghee's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prizefighter won't allow Mcghee to get back to his feet.

Mcghee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Prizefighter.

Prizefighter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Prizefighter lands in his opponent's guard.

Prizefighter can't find room to land a body shot as Mcghee controls the action.

Prizefighter ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Prizefighter no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Prizefighter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mcghee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mcghee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Prizefighter feints and then cracks Mcghee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mcghee down.

Fancy Mcghee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcghee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mcghee there as he acknowledges the shot.
Prizefighter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Mcghee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Prizefighter's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that HeavyWeight Prizefighter will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

It looks like Fancy Mcghee has been cut.

Mcghee is trying to maintain a safe position but Prizefighter gets an underhook and turns Mcghee into the cage.
Prizefighter comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Prizefighter.

Mcghee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Prizefighter backwards.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Prizefighter obliges.
Prizefighter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mcghee.

A nice left hand lands by Prizefighter.

That kick from Mcghee tenderised Prizefighter's leg. Prizefighter is trying to keep his angry face on.
