Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cannabis Sativa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sativa has chosen Rasta say SMOKE as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cannabis Sativa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols misses with a body shot.
Nichols closes the distance but Sativa moves to the side
and Sativa counters with an inside leg kick.
Nichols takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sativa lands a really nice looking cross but Nichols seems unphased.
Sativa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sativa - that will leave a mark!
Nichols is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sativa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nichols throws a head kick that misses.
Sativa connects with a leg kick. Nichols looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Nichols fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sativa manages to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sativa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nichols is trying to defend but Sativa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Nichols regains full guard. Nicely done.

Nichols has his foot on Sativa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sativa works his way back into a safe position though.

Nichols escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sativa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sativa wants to control from the top but Nichols keeps moving.

Nichols had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sativa defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sativa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nichols's guard.
