PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slim Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shady comes to the cage accompanied by The Real Slim Shady. Anthony is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Holidae Inn. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shady moves away from the strike by Anthony.

Anthony shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shady napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Slim Shady wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Shady feints and as Anthony raises his hands in defense, Shady changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Shady stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anthony swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Anthony working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shady doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shady manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anthony has his foot on Shady's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shady works his way back into a safe position though.

Anthony has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Shady. Oh but Anthony has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Shady goes limp - he's gone! Anthony jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
