The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saavedra avoids it really well and circles away.
Saavedra throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Saavedra.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saavedra sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Saavedra sprawls well. Saavedra wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Jesse Jones has been cut.
Jones is trying desperately to land a takedown but Saavedra is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jones.
