The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Kuznetsov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Dowdy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kuznetsov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dowdy somewhat.
Kuznetsov closes the distance and pushes Dowdy back into the cage.
Kuznetsov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dowdy throws a nice looking combination but Kuznetsov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dowdy walks into a stiff left hand from Kuznetsov.
Dowdy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kuznetsov as he avoids it easily.
Kuznetsov cracks Dowdy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dowdy falls backwards against the cage. Kuznetsov follows up with more strikes that drop Dowdy to his knees. Kuznetsov keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dowdy! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Kuznetsov!
