The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer wants to clinch.
Hammer throws a combination that misses

and Leszcz counters with a left and a right that hurts Hammer! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Leszcz jumps into full mount!

Hammer is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Leszcz controlling his opponent.
Hammer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hammer suckers Leszcz into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Hammer is now in Leszcz's guard!
Hammer won't allow Leszcz to get back to his feet.

Leszcz working for a triangle but Hammer defends it easily.
Leszcz pulls Hammer in close to prevent any damage.
Leszcz wants to sweep but no luck.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Leszcz has Hammer pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ryszard Leszcz.
Hammer misses the shot to the body.
Hammer lands with a straight right. Leszcz didn't see that one coming.
Hammer throws a body punch but Leszcz moves out of range.
Hammer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Eleven Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leszcz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hammer misses with an uppercut

and Leszcz counters with a series of strikes that sends Hammer to the canvas! Leszcz follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Hammer is still in real trouble! Can Leszcz finish him?

Leszcz throwing strikes from guard but Hammer blocks nicely.
Hammer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leszcz.
Leszcz sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Leszcz stands up over Hammer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hammer wants to get back to his feet but Leszcz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Leszcz passes into half guard.
Leszcz works his way into side control.
Leszcz is staying tight to Hammer's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Hammer seems to have recovered his senses.

Leszcz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leszcz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Leszcz tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Leszcz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hammer to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leszcz avoids the body shot from Hammer.
Leszcz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hammer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hammer throws a hook to the side of Leszcz's head but Leszcz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hammer misses with an uppercut
and Leszcz counters with a left and a right... And another left! Hammer is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
