Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russian Experiment III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Szczevnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Experiment III's entrance music is Come To Daddy. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Experiment III has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Szczevnikov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Experiment III is hanging on to Szczevnikov's back as he tries to escape.

Experiment III is looking for the choke from the back position but Szczevnikov is controlling his hands well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Experiment III drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Experiment III jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Experiment III drops back looking for a leg! Szczevnikov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Szczevnikov manages to kick Experiment III off! Experiment III jumps back into Szczevnikov's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Szczevnikov had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Experiment III is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Szczevnikov Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Experiment III's back instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
