The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carter dips to his left and cracks Dama with an uppercut!

It looks like Lal Dama has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter connects with a body shot that sends Dama's belly button to the back.
Dama looks gassed!
Carter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dama backs up against the cage.
Carter stuffs the takedown attempt from Dama. Dama gets slowly back to his feet.
Carter stuns Dama with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Carter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dama backwards.

That has opened up Lal Dama's cut even more.

Carter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Carter cracks Dama with a nice body shot.

Dama's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The cut above Lal Dama's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Carter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Carter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Carter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dama backwards.

Lal Dama's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Carter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dama is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks.
