Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gemini No Saga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saga comes to the cage accompanied by Pegasus fantasy. Gemini No Saga looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Saga as Hale shoots in.
Hale dives in and grabs Saga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saga pushes down on Hale's head and hops out.
Saga gets tackled into the cage by Hale. Hale maintains the clinch.
Hale tries for a takedown but Saga manages to get underhooks.
Gemini No Saga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Hale.

Hale shoots for a double leg takedown but Saga sprawls well. He's pushed Hale's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hale enables Saga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hale manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hale has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Saga off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That was a close round but I would say that Gemini No Saga will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Saga counters with a three punch combo that has Hale backing up. Hale nods at Saga to acknowledge the strikes.
Saga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hale to the mat! Hale manages to get full guard.
Saga wants to control from the top but Hale keeps moving.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hale controls Saga momentarily but Saga frees himself.
Saga decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hale, up you get!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Horrible takedown by Hale or perhaps it was just good defense by Saga which made him look bad.
Gemini No Saga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
