Feliciano has chosen hollywood undead- undead as his entrance music. Invictus Feliciano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feliciano fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Da Souza, pushing him back against the ropes.
Feliciano has a couple of punches blocked by Da Souza.
Da Souza is working for takedown but Feliciano is calmly controlling the position for now.
Feliciano misses with a hook from the clinch.
Feliciano fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Da Souza blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Feliciano misses with a hook to the ribs.
Da Souza fails to pull guard.
Feliciano scores with a nice hook to the head.

Feliciano changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Da Souza fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Da Souza looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Da Souza closes the distance and clinches up with Feliciano, looking for a takedown. Da Souza pushes Feliciano against the ropes but Feliciano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Da Souza throws the kick towards the body but Feliciano avoids it.

Feliciano rushes Da Souza and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Feliciano swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Da Souza ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Da Souza no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Da Souza has his foot on Feliciano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Feliciano works his way back into a safe position though.

Da Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Feliciano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Feliciano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Da Souza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Feliciano is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Da Souza.
Da Souza is looking to regain half guard here but Feliciano keeps moving and retains side control.
Da Souza manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Feliciano is not content to let Da Souza control the position.
Feliciano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Da Souza is looking for a kimura but Feliciano is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Da Souza to get the leverage.
Feliciano pushes Da Souza off but Da Souza dives into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Feliciano can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Feliciano is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
