The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrzewski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. van der Sloot defends it nicely.
van der Sloot lands a right hook to the body.

A jab-cross combination lands for van der Sloot and sends Zakrzewski crashing to the mat! van der Sloot follows him down to the mat - Zakrzewski regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

van der Sloot is nestled in close to Zakrzewski, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Zakrzewski has hold of van der Sloot's hands but van der Sloot slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Zakrzewski is looking to improve his position.
van der Sloot lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
van der Sloot wants to pass the guard but Zakrzewski is defending well.
van der Sloot is keen to just control but Zakrzewski is a slippery customer.
van der Sloot has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
