Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Kulak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by silver hawk. Krzysztof Kulak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Studebaker Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Krzysztof Kulak!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kulak looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hawk controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hawk throws a big elbow that misses.
Hawk sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Hawk drops back looking for a leg! Kulak is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kulak manages to kick Hawk off! Hawk jumps back into Kulak's guard.
Kulak controls Hawk momentarily but Hawk frees himself.
Hawk is in close to Kulak's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hawk drops back looking for a leg! Kulak is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kulak manages to kick Hawk off! Hawk jumps back into Kulak's guard.
Kulak controls Hawk momentarily but Hawk frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawk is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Kulak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hawk drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hawk seems to have locked his on tight now - Kulak screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hawk, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Studebaker Hawk!
