Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dai Vernon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vernon's entrance music is Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Volkov's choice of entrance music: The Trooper by Iron Maiden. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Volkov defends it nicely.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Volkov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vernon. That one must have hurt.

Vernon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vernon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Volkov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vernon to score with a decent uppercut.
Vernon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Volkov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Volkov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Volkov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Volkov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Volkov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Volkov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Volkov scores with a jab. Vernon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Volkov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Vernon to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Vernon looks to clinch but Volkov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Vernon taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
