Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tourniquet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target.
Hall looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Lee misses with a left hand
and Hall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hall misses the jab.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice jab there from Lee.
Hall takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab.

Hall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lee throws a right hand that Hall ducks under and follows up with a left that Hall also avoids with ease.

Hank Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hall connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.


It looks like Bruce Lee has been cut.
Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Halls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lee avoids the head kick by Hall.
Lee bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hall's head backwards.
Lee missing with a left hand there. Hall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hall throws a combination. Lee tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hall wants to slow Lee down by chopping away at his legs.

Hall clinches.
Lee lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hall backwards.
Hall prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lee misses with a body punch.
Hall lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Hall throws a punch but it's blocked by Lee.
Hall using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lee has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lee is trying to pull guard but Hall has him pressed against the cage.

Lee has clasped his hands together around Hall's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Lee creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Lee fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hall has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Hall is defending well.
Lee looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hall is avoiding damage well.

Lee goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hall rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lee's guard! Nice work there by Hall!

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lee is looking for a triangle but Hall pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hall defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hall throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.

Lee drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hall gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hall has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Hall wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.

Hall can't find room to land a body shot as Lee controls the action.
Hall lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards.


That has opened up Bruce Lee's cut even more.
Lee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. Lee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Hall takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.

Hall wants to clinch.
Hank Hall is winning the standup battle so far.
Nice uppercut lands for Hall. That snapped Lee's head back.
Hall digs a good hook to Lee's body.
Lee misses with a looping right.
Hall bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards.
Lee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hall.
Hall throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hall sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hall has momentary wrist control but Lee slips an elbow through the middle.
Lee with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Lee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hall has escaped and now he's on top!

Bruce Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Bruce Lee.
I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
