The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov misses with a hook
and Quintana counters with a straight right hand.
Quintana swats away the attempt to clinch by Kalashnikov.
Kalashnikov scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Quintana takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Carlos Quintana has been cut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Quintana. That's going to slow Kalashnikov down.

Quintana has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kalashnikov finds it's way round the side to connect with Quintana's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Quintana walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Quintana tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kalashnikov was well out of range. Poor timing from Quintana.

Carlos Quintana's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Quintana doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kalashnikov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Quintana. That did some damage!
