The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goral throws a head kick but Simo moves out of range.
No luck for Simo with that takedown attempt.
Simo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Simo fails with the takedown
and Goral decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Simo's guard.
Alex Goral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Simo.

Simo wants to control but Goral is keeping busy.

Goral is pushing down on Simo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Simo is fighting to maintain full guard but Goral has managed to sneak the leg through.

Simo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Goral seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Simo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
