The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Marlboro. Those never looked like landing.
Alexander takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Alexander throws the left hand but Marlboro avoids the punch easily.
Alexander tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jakob Alexander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Jack Marlboro has been cut.
Alexander misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marlboro.
Alexander throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marlboro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alexander throws a nice looking combination but Marlboro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Alexander thows a body shot but no joy.
No joy there for Marlboro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alexander fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Marlboro is out of range.

Marlboro lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Marlboro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alexander moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alexander cracks Marlboro with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alexander. Marlboro does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alexander uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marlboro has time to react.
Alexander scores with a nice head shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Marlboro!

Alexander swings away with a body shot that misses

and Marlboro counters with a crisp one two that drops Alexander! Marlboro thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Alexander to his feet! Alexander is in big trouble!

Alexander is rocked!

Marlboro shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Alexander is on queer street and Marlboro is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
