Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beginner Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong Li will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner dives in and grabs Li's left leg, looking for a takedown. Li pushes down on Winner's head and hops out.
Beginner Winner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Winner.
Li tries for a takedown but Winner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Winner shoots in but no luck this time.

Winner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Li as he avoids it easily.
Li defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Winner.
Winner feints and as Li raises his hands in defense, Winner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Winner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Winner is trying to control the action in half guard but Li is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Li has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Winner is working away from the top position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
