Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vulpes Inculta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eightpunch Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vulpes Inculta is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo jabs Inculta right on the nose. Inculta blinks but takes it well.

Halo tries to sprawl but Inculta drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inculta is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Vulpes Inculta has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Inculta tries for a takedown but Halo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Halo clinches with his opponent.
Inculta is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Halo to keep the fight standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Inculta on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Halo looking to throw knees to the head but Inculta is blocking nicely.

Inculta tries for a takedown but Halo manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vulpes Inculta. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Inculta wants the takedown. Halo is fighting it off but Inculta persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Halo 's guard against the cage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Halo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Inculta passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Halo is trying to control Inculta's posture but Inculta avoids it.
Halo wants to get back to his feet but Inculta is dominant here and he's now got Halo 's back!
Inculta has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Halo 's body.
Inculta's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Inculta slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Vulpes Inculta has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Halo scores with a head kick. Inculta tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Halo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Halo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Inculta's head backwards.
Halo sizes up Inculta with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Halo .
Inculta really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Halo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Inculta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A solid leg kick lands there for Halo .
Halo lands a jab to Inculta's midsection.
Halo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Inculta gets tackled into the cage by Halo . Halo maintains the clinch.

Halo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Inculta is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Halo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Eightpunch Halo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Halo 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Inculta takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Halo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Halo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Inculta.
Halo lands with a kick to the temple. Inculta shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
No luck for Inculta with that takedown attempt.

Halo lands the left hand.
Inculta will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Halo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Halo wants to hit a switch here but Inculta passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Halo there!
