Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gerrard Ahrun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wagani Silvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvia has chosen Roll With It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Wagani Silvia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ahrun shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silvia's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silvia has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ahrun is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silvia.

Silvia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ahrun is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Silvia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Silvia passes Ahrun's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ahrun is looking for a sweep. Silvia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ahrun tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silvia swivels and escapes.
Ahrun is looking to chop away at Silvia's legs.
Ahrun tries to clinch but Silvia is having none of it.
Ahrun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Silvia fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ahrun sprawls well initially but Silvia persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Oh but Silvia is tightening it up a little... Ahrun has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ahrun reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ahrun taps out! nice BJJ there by Silvia!
