The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beast fails with an attempt to clinch.
Donaldson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Beast is fending him off so far but Donaldson persists. Nope, The Beast circles away and we're back to standing.
The Beast closes this distance looking for a takedown but Donaldson circles away.
Donaldson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The Beast throws a chopping leg kick but Donaldson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The Beast tries a head kick but it misses.

The Beast is working to avoid the ground and pound but Donaldson connects with a decent elbow.

The Beast takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
