Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rolo Pup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Elorde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pup's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stone Cold. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Flash Elorde was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elorde looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Pup looking for submissions off his back.

Elorde looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pup tries to roll over but Elorde keeps him under control.

Pup looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Elorde is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pup sees it coming and defends easily.

Elorde is trying to work for a kimura but Pup is defending well.
Pup landing rabbit punches to the side of Elorde's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Elorde is thwarting Pup's attempts to control the position.

Pup is trying to control but can't.
Pup knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Elorde on the ground.

Elorde is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pup has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pup pushes Elorde off looking to stand but Elorde dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Elorde is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pup is just riding it out for now. Elorde eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pup is looking to get to half guard.
Pup stops Elorde from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Elorde working for a submission but Pup is keeping him at bay.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pup tries to hold on but Elorde postures up.
Pup has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Elorde has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pup has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Elorde is working for a rear naked choke. Pup is not defending it well and Elorde has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Pup refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Pup's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
