Garza has chosen Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard Play Hard [Music Video] as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Krios is looking to clinch.
Krios takes a swing at Garza's ribcage but misses.
Krios throws a lazy uppercut

and Garza counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Krios escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Garza moves out of range of the strikes.
Garza defending well as Krios loads up on a big left hand.
Krios ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Krios throws a lazy right hand but Garza sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Krios swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Krios misses its intended target.
Krios lands the left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garza is defended easily by Krios.
Krios displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Garza.
Thane Krios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Garza.
Garza shoots in for a takedown but Krios shows good takedown defense.

Garza keeps control of Krios as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Garza tries for a takedown but Krios manages to get underhooks.

Krios's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Krios drops Garza with a beautiful combination! Garza stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Krios is looking for the KO!

It looks like Chad Garza has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

After the fight, Thane Krios was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
